Lose weight: you can do it too!

Everyone is talking about 'being too fat' or losing weight. I think that every teenager, and especially the ladies, sometimes cares about that. Now there are always people who are blessed with a slim figure, and can eat anything they want. But what many people do not know is that many of these people often work up a sweat every week to achieve a result. Just look at Gwen Stefani, she does not come by sitting on the couch with that great figure!

I hear girls who have a lot more say so: 'There may be a few pounds off me, but I just can not lose weight'. Well let me tell you, everyone can lose weight, you only have to put 100% for it.

I've been too fat since I was eight. Until I started my further education it was not too bad. I was fed up with it a year and a half ago. I had it all with that 'fat' body of mine and I decided to really do something about it now. In the previous years I also tried to lose weight, but that was always without result, and after a few weeks I stopped.

At one point I took the big step to stand on the scale. I had not done this for years, I never wanted to see that I was too heavy. When I saw the beautifully rounded number of 90.0 kilos, I was shocked by my body. That much? How did I ever let that happen ?! In the back of my mind I always knew, but I had no problem with it that I was fat, that's how I was, that belonged to me.

I first started to stop sweating. Then the healthy food started for me: instead of a pizza in the evening, it became normal and healthy meals. Also sports had to happen, I did this first by skating every night. In the summer it is wonderful to do, but when it was winter (cold and dark ...) I really had to go to the gym. I really did not dare to do this in the beginning, I was afraid that everyone would stare at me and would think: 'that is how it became time'. So I first started running with my girlfriend, but because of a hip deviation on her part, she could not continue with this. At that moment I was so focused on losing weight and playing sports that I got my father to run with me. After a while my brother and my mother have persuaded me to go to the gym. And exactly as they said: it does not represent anything. Everyone is there with the same goal, losing weight or improving the condition, nobody who judges you there or looks weird.

I have spent a year in weight loss, with the goal: to go slim on vacation. I have had a hard time in the time of losing weight. I often wanted to give up, but something in me did not allow it. Thanks to the help of my mother, I have now lost 28 kilos, and I have achieved my goal. I still go to the gym 4 times a week, and three times a week I go running with my father. Of course I still have those times when I eat all the unhealthy things I come across, but I never let it get that far again.

That is why I want to motivate the girls who want to lose weight themselves, but think they can not do this. Believe me, you can do it! If I can, you can do it too. Try to find someone who can join you in sports, for example, or someone who motivates you and who understands you. Good luck and
strength!
